The Conference
The OpenAg Symposium 2024: Food Futures in a Changing Climate, will be held on 18th September, Wednesday at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. The event is organised and hosted by the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development (OICSD) in partnership with UPL, one of the leading suppliers of sustainable agriculture products & solutions.
Across three panels, the event will explore how agricultural practices affect national security with a focus on water and energy security. The Plenary panel will discuss the broader theme of the changing food systems and its relationship with security and two breakout panels will focus on water security and energy security respectively. Each panel will feature a mix of guests from academia, policy, industry, and NGOs moderated by a global expert.
